JaCkSon HoLe & YeLLoWsTonE

 Last week after my crazy accident and after I got back from Denver we had a trip planned to go to Jackson Hole with our friends. I felt well enough to go knowing Dan would do all he driving, I could sleep all the way there and once I got there I could just take it easy.
Well the day after we got to Jackson Dan was a little stir crazy wanting to go on a major hike or rock climbing. I could do neither. So he suggested what about going to Yellowstone. It's only about 2 1/2 hours from Jackson Hole. I thought it sounded like a fun adventure. My legs still work so I felt totally fine about going and seeing Old Faithful and knew I could walk the boardwalks just fine.
So off we went to Yellowstone.

 Well, Dan was not content to watch Old Faithful from the benches with the rest of the tourists. So we headed up to  Observation Point! I was a little leery of my arm situation and getting into a strenuous hike but was a good sport and I am glad I did. Although I would have been fine to sit with the rest of the tourists on those benches. LOL
Anything up hill throws my legs into a tizzy and they just don't like inclines. It wasn't too bad, I was just slow...I just wanted to make it up there before Old Faithful erupted!

 Afterwards we set off on the boardwalks to all the geysers. Dan had never seen any of them so that was fun to share them with him. It had been at least 16 17 years since I had been to Yellowstone so it felt all new to me too!!

Look real close at this picture. I had Dan pretend he was taking it of me to get the shot of this lady (she was older in her 60's) showing off her butt cheeks!!!! LOL I was surprised her husband let her wear those out of the house!! ;)

We ended up seeing Old Faithful erupt 3 times in one day!!  It took me a lifetime to see it erupt that many times until this trip. We were having so much fun we stayed in this part of Yellowstone all day.
Never made it to Mammoth Springs and the rest of the loop of Yellowstone. We're saving that to take the grand kids there someday.
It was the perfect weather and the perfect day. Got back to Jackson hole at 9:30 PM
My arms did great all day but I was ready to hit the sack. Bed's are so awesome.
We were in Jackson Hole for 3 days and it was awesome being with our good friends. Thank you Scott and Lori for inviting us to Jackson every year. We love it almost as much as we love you!
