HaPpY HaLLo WeeN!!

We had our annual Costume Sunday dinner for Halloween last week. I love seeing what the kids come dressed as for Halloween. I heard Landen say when he walked in " I wonder what Grandma is going to be dressed up as?" Well when I came out in all  my Cinderella Glory all the boys looked at me with a "who are you look!" Sadly the boys are not into Cinderella and Annsley is too little to know who I was also :(  Didn't matter really because I loved being Cinderella!! Dan was/is my Prince Charming! I didn't ever quite have time to get our costumes made the way I wanted them and had no time to get dressed but I got over it once the party began.

We had pizza, Caesar salad, slush with dry ice in it and Birthday cake! Papa Murphy's had these cute jack-o-lantern pizza's and the boys thought they were cool. I have a love hate relationship with dry ice. I love what it does but hate how I can never get it work really good. I bought it late Saturday night for Sunday and when I went to use it, well it had practically all but evaporated. I bought 4 lbs and I would say there were 3 small pieces left by Sunday at dinner time!!! So maddening, Then I can't get it to keep smoking really good in the punch bowl. grrrrr. If anyone knows the trick let me know. I guess I need to google how to get dry ice to go crazy!!

After dinner we played the game memory that my sister Peggy had bought for me. The little boys like Crew and Thaxton didn't quite get that they had to take turns and it got a little out of control but it was still fun. When I was a kid at church parties I LOVED cake walks. So I decided I wanted to have one at the party with cupcakes. Next time I will just have different prizes as it was too much sweets to add to the party cake and the Halloween candy. Then I had the boys bob for doughnuts. It was soooo funny watching their heads go all over the place trying to bite the doughnuts.

The boys waiting for the yummy pizza.
Annsley is WALKING and it was so fun to see her cruising around.
I love my "head" that talks when the kids get near it. His eye's open and he scares ya!
                                                              Trevor was a "Bat Boy"
So cute of Rachelle and Matt!
Oh my gosh, I love this picture of Thaxton, Shari and Annsley.
I love to take a group picture every year. Another couple fun shots of all of us!
                                                             Get your CrAzY pose on!

Here is a picture of Annsley showing off her new walking skills!                  Cutest Bunny ever!! ahhh
The boys showing off their costumes in my impromptu photo shoot.
Trevor torturing Annsley by trying to scare her with my talking witch.
Happy Happy 54th Birthday to me!!
Enjoying showing Annsley Cinderella's crown! She knows a pretty thing when she sees it!! Yes, Annsley you will want to be Cinderella before you know it!
Me with all my little Goblins. OF course missing Traven and Jace. Traven was a spider and Jace was a Frog. We got to have them be part of the party with Skype!!
Of course Rachelle and I have to get in our traditional photo shoot!!  Doing crazy poses, LOL!

You gotta have eyeballs in the punch, as it makes it so much better!
Gotta show off my decorations. I love to decorate my jars.

My Hutch jam packed with Halloween treasures.
My new cabinet full of skeletons.

Actually on Halloween night I turned off the porch light and didn't answer the door and spent the evening taking down the decorations  and putting up the Thanksgiving decorations!!  It was great!
