Shrink wrapping Cody and Landen's eggs!

Tonight we decided to kick off Easter weekend and get to the "Egg Dippin". That is what Cody used to call it when he was three. Rachelle and the boys came over to hang out so we got busy and got all the egg dye set up and got to work. After we colored egg's everyone was hungry so I made my mom's traditional
"Egg's on Toast" meal with the
hardboiled eggs. Mom (I sure miss her on day's like this) always made this with all the eggs from Easter when I was a kid. I actually didn't like it that much as a child but when I became a mom I now needed to make something with all the Easter eggs so I tried this recipe on my family and everyone grew up loving it and in time I grew to like it more and more myself. Trevor and Shari & Thaxton showed up and colored a couple of egg's also. Shari wasn't too keen on our tradition of "Egg's on toast"..... well, maybe in time it will grow on her too.
While we were in the middle of all the Easter festivities Crew needed a bath and I got the cutest picture of him in the sink. Crew is always smiling at everyone. Yesterday I went to my sister Peggy's home to fill the egg's for our traditional Easter egg hunt for Sunday after dinner. I posted a behind the scene's picture of what goes on getting ready for that. It was a busy fun night at Grandma's house!
PS- Of course we missed Tye, Tara, Traven, Danny and Tilly

  1. Looks like fun! I am just not into the egg dying this year. My kids haven't asked about it so I don't think I will bring it up. I know, I'm such a bad Mom! I guess the idea of leaving for St. George has me wanting to clean the house and do laundry more than dye easter eggs.
