Halloween 2010

I started a tradition a few years ago of having Sunday dinner near or on Halloween where the family all dresses up in their costumes and comes and shows them off. I decorate the house all festive for them too. I actually love the decorating and probably do it more for me then them!

This year we had the dinner at Rachelle's as I was still in the middle of unpacking and didn't go all out on my decoration's. Rachelle has become quite the little decorator and cook and I love seeing what she comes up with. Crew's Pirate B-day party earlier this month was amazing. She decorated the house and table sooo cute. Well Halloween was no different. I have been Dorothy for several years and passed it on to Rachelle, she looked so cute! I did not have a costume planned out this year and not only that, I had given the costume box to Rachelle so when I was getting ready Dan and I had to use whatever I could find around the house, which wasn't much. Oh well, I have big plans for next year, just wait! I don't like Halloween parties that need a costume unless I have a costume all figured out to wear. That's why I have been Dorothy for so many years as I loved my costume and didn't have to figure out what to wear. We showed up in our costume's and LOVED seeing all the kids in theirs. They are always so cute. Rachelle made chili, and I brought fruit and fruit dip and Shari brought pumpkin pie. The little boys just about ate all the strawberries before the prayer was said! I never knew they all liked strawberries sooo much!! Sorry all the pictures are a little pixal-ly as my settings were not right. oops!
Annsley was a little flower and Trevor and Shari came dressed up as a mom and a Dad! ;)

Thaxton was a pirate, Crew was a race car driver, Landen was Sponge Bob and Cody was Darth Vader.....
