A Fun Week!

We have had Tye and 'Tara" here visiting for the weekend. It has been so fun having them and getting to know our new little grandson Traven. He is such a cutie. Saturday we went to some of the Church History sights around St. George. We went to Brigham Young's Winter home and to the Jacob Hamblin Home. I had never been to Brigham's home, I felt like I was back in Nauvoo for a couple of hours Saturday. Now I want to go on the St. George walking tour of all the historical sights.
It is amazing what you can learn about the town you live in when you take the time. Earlier in the week a friend and I went to lunch but I wanted to check out a couple new places I had heard about in town, by the end of the day we felt like we had been on a mini vacation. We even found out about a new restaurant that was really yummy and fun.
Next time you come to St. George you have to go down town to Main Street by the Tabernacle and see the new water fountain and river water park. It was so needed and it is perfect for the kids to splash and play in. Then go to Lunch at "25 Main" it is on the same side of the street as the Bear Paw if you are familiar with that. I think it is way better then the Bear Paw now. More for adults then a bunch of kids but you can take the kids in if you want to. It's kinda like a deli but serves Panini's and wonderful salads. Maybe it's more like Zupa's food. Not a big place but for St. George it is a nice new addition. Go check it out when in town.

  1. Fun! I totally want to go back down there. I just don't want to go in the middle of the summer. Wish we lived closer.
