We have had alot of Southwick family in town this summer. Of course we love it and have enjoyed spending time with one another. Last Sunday Dan and his sister's made his dads infamous pizza. His dad always made pizza for the family when they were little. When he made pizza it meant they got to eat it in the family room. Now that was exciting to little kids! Well, it has become a family tradition I especially enjoy because I do not have to make it, I just got to eat it!! yum-yum.
This week we even got a special treat! Danny and Tilly were home to hang out with us. It's rare that we get to have them for dinner these days since they live in California right now. Danny was actually in Kentucky for a couple of months playing Arena Football for the team called the "Louisville Fire". The season is over so he is back in CA.
We have had nieces and nephews staying here too. We love that we have a place for them to stay while in town. You're welcome any time!!
Grandpa Southwick is recovering from being diagnosed with melanoma on his forehead. He was our guest of honor.
I would like to spread some advice to everyone. Check your moles and check your parents moles! Bill thought he just had an age spot on his forehead and didn't worry about it. Well, it was a cancerous mole and it was bad! He had to have a big area of his forehead removed. Thankfully they got all the cancer and he was very lucky!!!
Go check your moles!!!
