On Saturday I took Trevor and Rachelle's family up to Park City for dinner at the Pizza & Noodles restaurant on Main Street. Dan was not with us as he had flown to Tampa FL to be at Danny's football game and we missed him. We met up at 3pm and had dinner first and then walked around to a few of the fun places to take pictures with the kids.

The Kids were really good and Landen and Crew were so cute taking pictures of us eating dinner. The waiters thought they were so cute as we had Crew standing on a chair to take the pictures. They were all blurry though, and those blurry pictures are on Rachelle's camera. LOL The boys were so cute with Annsley.

Annsley was trying out her first pizza crust and loving it!! She was pulling funny faces.
The waiters bought Crew and Landen big gumballs so that is what is in their cheeks.
After we were done eating. I had fun taking pictures of the kids at the different photo ops on Main.
The boys loved the rocks in gift shop. Crew and Thaxton liked the miner's helmets. The candy store was enticing with the smell of chocolate...yum!!
Then we headed over to Willow Creek Park ( we went there on a recommendation and it was great) so the kids could run around and we could relax on the grass.

The boys are fun to play whiffle ball these days so I always have a bag of bats and balls in my car when we get together. Annsley loves the swings and we loved just hanging out in the shade. Then it was time for everyone to go home. :(
I was in the mood to keep exploring the town. So when they all left I went back to Main Street and checked out more on Main street and walked all over the place. I wanted to find the "Shoe Tree's " that I had found on a brochure and I did! I also went to a historical cemetery but did not find it until about 9:30 pm and it was getting dark so the pictures I took did not turn out. I am for sure going to go back to that cemetery as it was really cool. I met the guys that do the ghost tours and would like to do that someday too. Problem was they charge $20! if it was only $10 I would have jumped in on the tour right then as they were getting ready to leave. On the way to the cemetery I found the Alpine slides and this fun area with a Merry-go-round and a climbing wall and play area at the Park City Mtn. Resort. It also had a bunch of shops and a Mexican Restaurant I want to go back to called Baja Cantina. It was so much fun finding all these places and I was sad that it was getting dark and I needed to go home. I finally left around 10pm. I also got hooked up at the information center with 2 nights at a hotel for $20!!! whOO-hOO!! ( the catch is we have to go to a 90 minute presentation for a time share. I hate those but it will be worth the hassle to have 2 nights for twenty bucks!! :) So I am going to take Dan back for a little mini vacation and show him all my new places I found. I hope to find more fun things when I go again.
Saturday was a FUN day!!!!

  1. Cool, I think my favorite picture was of Ansley making a funny face. Looks like a fun place.

  2. That was so much fun. Thanks Mom for planning this little outing for us. Reminds me of Grandma Maylett and how she used to love checking out new places and taking all us kids to see it.
