GrAnDma DaTe wiTH CrEw!

Today I met up with Rachelle in Lehi for some business stuff. When it was time to go, Crew said he wanted to go on a date with me! WHAT!!?!?! Crew has not been into me lately. He has been such a mommas boy. When I am at Rachelle's house he never wants to come to me, he only wants his mom. It has made me sad.
Well today, he was so into Grandma and was so excited to do something with me. I wasn't prepared for a date with him but he was so excited I did not want to let him down.
So I said sure! Let's go!! He couldn't get his car seat in my car fast enough it was amazing!!! He was soooo happy.  Hmmmm what to do, where to go....I was thinking so hard of what to do on the fly.
I stopped at a little Boutique I saw as we were driving off. He was great to go to that with me. Then I thought, I'll take him to the park and then go get some ice cream and that should make a good little date for him..
My navigation shows where all the parks are so that was easy. I headed for the first one. It looked like a fun park full of mom's and kids but ended up not being that much fun. for me anyway. I didn't last long and then we were off to I had no idea....As I headed toward Rod Works to check out their new Halloween decorations...(yes, I was going to take Crew to see Halloween decorations) we passed Thanksgiving Point and I decided that is where we will go and just see what unfolds. I knew I could get ice cream there at least! :)

I remembered there is a kids farm there and ended up going there and it was perfect!!!
Crew was free! I am good at finding free deals!!! I bought my ticket and a horsey ride for Crew and we were off. Well right off Crew did not like the horses and was very scared of them. No refund for the horse ride!!! grrrr but I can save it for another day. He surprised me on that choice.
Then it started to rain...a cloud burst complete with Hail!!! That was fine and it was over in about 10 minutes and then it was nice and sunny again.
We checked out all the animals, took lot's of pictures bought a treat and then Crew was ready to go. He said " let's go to your house now Grandma!" Well like I said, I was not prepared for a date today so I had to tell him not today but soon. Then he was happy to go home and see his brothers.
He fell asleep before we got home!
A fun spur of the moment afternoon. Priceless!!!
It's nice to have Crew as my buddy again!!!
