I came across these pictures of a St. Patty's day idea I did for the ladies I visit teach a few years back. (yes, I take pictures of everything I make)I thought they were cute. Just wanted to share. You girls will make them even better, I know you! I would jazz them up more myself second time around. I also bought a shamrock sugar cookie tonight at dinner that had the word "Lucky" written on it. It was so cute! To bad I did not take a picture of it before I ate it! Darn.. It was a big shamrock and they were frosted two ways. Green with White "Lucky" frosting and white with the green Lucky written on it.Then they were wrapped in a cellophane bag with a green ribbon. FuN, FuN!
I remember when I was around 8 years old I couldn't wait to wear green to school for St. Patrick's day. I waited and waited and planned what I was going to wear so I wouldn't get pinched and I was all ready. Well, St.Patrick's day came and I just totally forgot until I got to school to wear green that day. I wore a new peach colored dress I had just got and I go walking in all excited to show off my new dress and EVERYONE had green on but ME! They all started making fun of me and chasing me around trying to pinch me. I couldn't believe I had forgotten! I was so mad I forgot and then had to make a STUPID paper shamrock out of green paper and wear it all day and I felt so lame. so to this day I remember to wear green on St. Patrick's day and I don't think anyone else does but me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Love your St. Paddy's day story! Go to my blog and see what Michela's idea was for today. :)
